Attitude of Gratitude Webinar

Focusing on what we do not have creates discontentment in our lives. We are constantly striving for the things we want, and find ourselves complaining about the things we do not have. Comparison becomes our close companion and the more we focus on it, the more miserable we become.

On the flip side when we focus on being grateful for what we do have, we find contentment and satisfaction in life. Being able to enjoy our lives and be at peace with ourselves and those around us. Having an attitude of gratitude changes the way we view ourselves, our families, our lives and those around us. We longer need to be better than anyone else and we no longer need to strive to be recognized.

So we find ourselves in this dilemma. We are constantly being bombarded with messages telling us that we need to strive for more, and not be content with what we have. When we engage with this, we lose our joy and peace and trade them for anxiety and the feeling we are never enough. We need to cultivate our attitude of gratitude so we can withstand the bombardment of messages to the contrary.
