About

Mental Health has been a taboo subject for so many years.  It has been gaining more attention in the last 10 years with more advocacy for those suffering.  We all have either been directly affected or know others who are affected by mental health issues. It can no longer be swept under the carpet or locked up in a closet.  It is affecting all of us in all areas.  And I have seen this statistic ramp up in the last 2 years with the added isolation and hopelessness, job loss, loss of loved ones, the list could go on.  These difficult times will often trigger things that have been there all along that was just laying dormant.  At NOSA we aim to help you find the roots to why you struggle in your mental health, bring healing to those areas of trauma and give you tools to move forward in freedom no longer having to deal with these mental health issues.

Our mission is to help as many people we can through the process of mentorship.  Walking along side those who want our help.  Seeing where they are, and walking with them to see them get from where they are to where they want to be. Finding freedom from their past traumas so that they can live their lives to the fullest, loving who they are and acheiving all they were meant to.

We believe everyone can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to offer support, resources and opportunities for healing to those struggling with mental health issues. We achieve this through group mentoring session, one on one sessions and offering online courses that can be done at one's own pace to find freedom.

Our Vision

I am bold in saying the vision I have is to see mental health wards in hospitals empty.  There is a crisis of mental health, that often leads to suicide, homelessness, or addictions.  We aim to change these statistics one person at a time.  If we can help bring freedom to one person it will trickle down for many generations.  We often find that the brokenness we see in those we help have been passed down for generations.  Its time to break the cycle and bring freedom. This crisis can change and it is our mission to help as many people as we can.

Our Future Dream

Our future dream at NOSA is big. It needs to be big because the need for mental health resources is vast and continues to grow yearly. We desire to create a place that would accommodate all of our programs, allow for growing our team and also fund the work that we are doing each day. As many of our programs are at no cost or significantly subsidized we are always looking for ways to fund our services. We do this through our online store, three main fundraising initiatives, corporate sponsors, monthly donors and one time gifts.

Our future vision includes having a NOSA headquarters, which would include...

  • Gift shop and coffee house and all proceeds from these ventures will go directly to NOSA Foundation.

  • Amphitheatre for large group meetings

  • Meeting rooms for weekly and year long programs addressing all areas of mental health

  • Support groups for specific areas of need

  • Mentors, which can meet in person or online

  • Counsellors for those who need more professional help

  • Child care for those who need to access our programs and services

  • Wellness facility that focuses on physical health issues as it is connected to all aspects of emotional and spiritual well being.

  • Additional location to host regular retreats throughout the year.
