Cath's Story

My family and I moved to Canada 5 years ago from the United Kingdom pursuing a dream that had been on my husband’s and my heart for a long time well about 20 years! With much perseverance and patience, we arrived in Canada in September 2020 with our four children.

My husband and I met in London, United Kingdom and quickly realized although culturally and characteristically we are very different, God does have a sense of humour! we both have similar hearts for people to know that they are loved, seen, important and unique.

Life has had its ups and downs. I naively assumed becoming a Christian in my early twenties leaving my old life of partying and living my own way would ensure a smooth ride now I was following God’s ways and his word. However, life can sometimes be just plain hard and one of the toughest seasons was our journey of becoming a family of 6. I went through 5 miscarriages in between becoming a mum to our 4 children. Processing the grief and trauma, remembering the 5 precious souls waiting for us in heaven whilst celebrating and being thankful for the birth of our 4 children.  Through this time God was faithful, comforting and bought hope during intense pain, joy, deep questions and my own soul-searching journey through suffering.

My heart’s passion is to walk alongside women and young women in an honest real way facing all that life sometimes can throw at us, our mistakes, other people’s mistakes, hurt and pain, journeying together, building hope, resilience and kindness one step at a time on the path to freedom, adventure and joy.

I would love to chat with you to discuss mentoring and journeying together.
